Privacy policy
Twegg is an app for couples to share lists, a calendar, goals, money and memories, and to send each other notes. This policy explains what data Twegg handles, why, who else processes it, and your rights.
Who is responsible
Twegg is operated by Pauline Huber, Rue de l'Industrie 24, 1030 Bussigny, Switzerland ("we", "us"). For anything related to privacy, contact hello@twegg.app.
What we collect and why

We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. Twegg currently contains no analytics or advertising tools.
End-to-end encryption
Your notes and free-typed moods, question answers, memories (names, descriptions and categories), goals (titles, descriptions and amounts), photos, and finance entries (names, amounts and categories) are end-to-end encrypted on your phone with a key that only you and your partner hold. We can't read them.
Some data isn't end-to-end encrypted, because the service needs it to work: your account and profile (email, name, profile photo), lists and tasks, calendar events, dates, currency codes, and message types and moods chosen from the app's fixed list. This data is still encrypted in transit and at rest, and only you and your partner can access it through the app.
Push notifications never contain the content of your messages or any finance data.

When the app looks up currency exchange rates, it asks a public rates service (frankfurter.dev) for published rates only; no personal data is sent.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Your data is kept while you have an account.
- Notes and moods are deleted as soon as your partner has read them. Questions are deleted once you've both seen each other's answers.
- When you delete your account (Settings › Delete account), your content and profile are deleted from our systems.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict how it's processed. Most of this you can do directly in the app; otherwise email hello@twegg.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Twegg isn't intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
